Heineken & CFAO – Partners since 1994
Since its creation as a family business in 1864, Heineken (named after its founder Gerard Adriaan Heineken) has grown remarkably, to become the third largest brewer in the world today. Heineken International operates worldwide with a network of 140 breweries and one of the largest brand portfolios in the world: Birra Moretti, Cruzcampo, Maes, Primus, Zywiec, Star, and of course Amstel and Heineken, as well as others.
A solid partnership
Through its partnership with Heineken since 1994, the CFAO Group operates two breweries and two bottling plants in the Republic of the Congo. These entities are the leaders in their market, producing and selling a large range of beers including the brands Primus, N'gok, Guinness and Heineken, as well as a wide variety of carbonated soft drinks through an agreement with Coca-Cola. These beverages are consumed daily through a network of 16,000 sales locations, attracting new customers every day. Since 2016, the Group has also operated its first brewery in Côte d'Ivoire, Brassivoire.
