Worldwide success

Since its creation as a family business in 1864, Heineken (named after its founder Gerard Adriaan Heineken) has grown remarkably, to become the third largest brewer in the world today. Heineken International operates worldwide with a network of 140 breweries and one of the largest brand portfolios in the world: Birra Moretti, Cruzcampo, Maes, Primus, Zywiec, Star, and of course Amstel and Heineken, as well as others.
