CFAO FMCG & AGRI has been running three breweries in partnership with Heineken International since 1994, two in Congo (BRASCO) and one in Côte d’Ivoire (BRASSIVOIRE).

In the Congo, BRASCO runs two breweries: the first in Brazzaville, the capital located in the north of the country, and the second in the coastal port city of Pointe Noire in the south.

BRASCO makes and bottles more than fifteen kinds of drinks, both local beers like Primus and Ngok’ and international brands like Guinness and Heineken®. The group also makes and bottles carbonated soft drinks like Coca-Cola, Schweppes, and Fanta.

Brassivoire
is the new joint-venture born of the partnership between HEINEKEN and CFAO in Côte d’Ivoire. The first brick of its new factory was laid on 25 September 2015 in PK 24, the new industrial estate north of Abidjan and inaugurated on 5 April 2017. Brassivoire launched its first beer brewed in Côte d’Ivoire, “Ivoire”, on 14 November 2016.

Brassivoire represents an investment of 100bn CFA Francs (some €150m), with a production capacity of 1.6 million hectolitres of beer every year.
