Brassivoire
Brassivoire is a joint venture created by the association of HEINEKEN and CFAO in Côte d'Ivoire. It is 51% owned by HEINEKEN and 49% by CFAO.
Presentation
The first stone of its plant was laid on 25 September 2015 at PK 24, the new industrial zone north of Abidjan. It launched its first beer brewed in Ivory Coast "IVOIRE", on November 14, 2016.
Officially inaugurated on April 5, 2017 by high government authorities and executives of the Heineken and CFAO groups, Brassivoire represents an investment of CFAF 100 billion, or approximately € 150 million, for a production capacity of € 1.6 million, Hectoliters of beer per year.
After five months of production, Brassivoire now has 200 employees. This number is expected to increase significantly as Brassivoire continues to invest and expand its operations.
